Texas — GAINESVILLE, Texas, Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -

GAINESVILLE, Texas, Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ — Wind Energy Services Company (WES) announced today that effective October 01, 2010 the company’s base of operations will be relocated to Gainesville, TX. Staff and equipment from the satellite operations in Sweetwater, TX, Independence, KS and Worthington, MN moved to the new location.

WES is taking necessary steps to position the company for long-term profitability in the current challenging economic environment. WES is a wholly owned entity of the Molded Fiber Glass Companies (MFG), a diversified manufacturer of composite components for wind energy equipment as well as products for the automotive, trucking, construction and defense industries. Going forward, WES service centers will be strategically co-located with existing MFG manufacturing operations, resulting in cost reductions for facility maintenance and human resource administration.

The MFG facility in Gainesville, TX currently produces wind energy blades and a mix of other large composite products. The state of Texas has the highest concentration of wind energy farms in the USA and the proximity to this dense customer base will support the company’s mission to provide industry-leading, rapid-response, on-site repair and maintenance services for wind blades, nacelles and spinners.
